My First Exotic Bird Fair

Today Jeremy took me to my first exotic bird show.
This enlightening experience was held at the North Atlanta Convention Center in Roswell, and
we had such a good time.

This Rosebreasted Cockatoo is the first bird I've ever encouraged to perch on my arm, and although he didn't seem too fond of me, he absolutely loved Jeremy. I have a feeling that if Jeremy had $1500 parked in his wallet, this bird would have walked out the door with us.

This bird show presented a lot of "firsts" for me, including the sight of newborn birds. There are some things you need to see
just once in your life, and after that, you never need to see them again. These colorless, terradactyl-looking freaks completely
sucked any excitement I've ever had to see baby birds right out the window. Surprisingly, the thing to the left grows into the cutie on the right.

By the end of the day, I was open to the idea of having a bird around. I'm not sure how Seven would react, but I've seen enough Sylvester & Tweety shows to know what might happen. The African Greys and Rosebreasted Cockatoos seemed the most likely of candidates for my house... just as long as it already has feathers.
